New Station serving housing, retail, business & sport
Reading Green Park Station is the first station to open in Reading for 117 years. It is a the centre of fast developing area. Within one kilometer are retail, new houses and flats, community facilities, a business park and major stadium
For services and destination see Trainline. It is planned in four phases as the business park and residential development are built:
Phase 1 - two platforms, canopies, a footbridge, two bus bays, a cycle hire hub and cycle parking
Phase 2 - separate footpath to segregate pedestrians from cyclists, a rank for taxis, and a new bus bay
Phase 3 - another section of access road, increase bus bays to six, a ground-level car park with 103 spaces
Phase 4 - a 200-space four-storey car park and reduce the ground level car park to 42 spaces
